THE BOOK
we want to present the world of "hiphop-posing",
the fashion and attitude of the golden aera.
This book will be a collection of european hiphop pioneers,
showing their best posing-pictures from the 80's and early 90's,
when hiphop was fresh and posing was dope!
The focus is not on photography and the photographer,
but on the posers and their lifestyle.
We don't need "good" photos, but fresh poses and fresh people!

YOUR PHOTO
send as much photos as possible, that we can choose the one we like...
300 dpi resolution (or better higher !)
Size: A5 or A4 !

WE NEED AS WELL
- your name, the name of the people on the picture.

- year, when the picture was taken
- place, country (where are you from?)
- special infos like (short storys how and why the picture was taken, what you think about it etc...)

West Midlands, England, 1983/84

"These photos were taken by my father David Higginbotham. We didn't have a crew name but we once had a shout on the Mike Allen show as the Turntable Gladiators. I'm the only one who couldn't afford a padded Nike jacket at the time (red/blue) and I am in fact wearing a borrowed one. Puma G Vilas was a particular favourite of ours at the time. Also Adidas Wimbledon. The sounds that we were listening to at the time would have been the Streetsounds Electro series, Egyptian Lover, Bambaataa, Arthur Baker... None of us were particularly good breakers but we looked good! ... peace Fatlaces"
